Hawaii Coffee Survey
Aloha,
The Hawaii Department of Agriculture and Biosecurity is launching its annual survey program to gain better insights into the current state of Hawaii’s coffee industry.
Specifically, we are gathering information on:
- Coffee production and pricing
- Marketing channels
- Grower perspectives on the new coffee labeling laws
- General farm characteristics.
In addition, there is an optional section on production expenses. The purpose of this section is to evaluate how efficiently coffee growers are using their inputs to produce outputs. This information can help identify the sources and extent of production inefficiency, which can guide future research, outreach, and support programs for Hawaii’s coffee growers.
All responses are confidential and will be used only for statistical and research purposes. Results will be reported in summary form so that no individual or farm can be identified.
The survey should take about 5–10 minutes to complete, depending on your operations and responses.
Your input is vital to ensuring that the voices of Hawaii’s coffee growers are heard and represented. By completing this survey, you are contributing to the continued growth and resilience of Hawaii’s coffee industry.
If you have any questions about this survey, please contact us via email or phone.
