From September 2023 – August 2024, DAB successfully hosted the first PDP in over 16 years and expanded the program to the entire state of Hawai‘i.  Eligible participants included farms, such as, nurseries, greenhouse operators, crops, and livestock.  Additionally, pesticide dealers, licensed pest control operators, golf course operators, landscape professionals, certified pesticide applicators, city and state agencies, and other commercial end users of pesticides were eligible.

Three workers wearing high-visibility safety vests and gloves sort and handle materials near large black hazardous waste drums at an outdoor pesticide disposal site. The ground is covered with protective plastic sheeting, and bags labeled "DISPOSAL" are stacked nearby. Trees and fencing are visible in the background, and the setting appears organized for hazardous material collection.
